Policies

In order that the Center for Instructional Services may better meet your needs for service, the following policies are adhered to by the Center.

Service and Production Priorities

Within each priority classification, the policy of “first come/first serve” is followed. Priority is granted to instructional projects and academic research presentations. Projects may be declined or referred to off-campus facilities if demand for services is high or deadlines are abbreviated.

First - Classroom Instructional Support
Second - Professional Research and Presentations
Third - University Related Programs
Fourth - Priority is granted to instructional projects and academic research presentations. CIS is unable to support non-university projects.

Charges

Only the actual cost of materials utilized by a production request will be charged back to the requesting department and/or individual. Normally, labor costs incurred by a production request will not be charged back to the client. Occasionally, a major project may require full or partial charge back for labor costs. This will be determined at the time the project is submitted. Costs for any equipment, which must be rented, will be charged back.
